Ubuntu 14.04でEpson Scanner Perfection 3170を実行する

  1. Ubuntuによってインストールされたsane/xsane/...パッケージをアンインストールします
  2. GitからSane-Backendを複製してインストールする

    ./configure --enable-libusb_1_0  --disable-translations --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc
    
  3. GitからSane-Frontendを複製してインストールする

    ./configure  --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc
    
  4. 編集/etc/sane.d/dll.confepsonおよびepson scanをコメントアウトします。このファイルにないepkowaを追加します。

  5. ファイル/etc/sane.d/epkowa.confが見つかりませんでした。スキャナーにusb-idを追加しました。

  6. Epsonで入手可能なRPMからiscanとそのプラグインをインストールします

Epson Perfection 3170とUbuntu 12.04でも同様の問題が発生していました。すべてのsane.d、epkowa、udevルールを試しましたが、gitクローンを使用したくなかったため、Rolf BenschのPPA ppa:rolfbensch/sane-gitを使用しようとしましたが、まだ成功しませんでした。

libjpeg62がないことに関する以前のエラーメッセージを見たことを思い出しました。それをインストールした後、xsaneは機能しました!
