ttySとttyMシリアルデバイスの違いは何ですか？

両方ともsetserialとttysを介して構成できますか？

ttySは元の「標準」シリアルデバイスです。 ttyMは新しいです（シリアルデバイスだけではありません）。 MAKEDEV マニュアルページにリストが要約されています（元々はLinux Documentation/drivers.txtにありましたが、現在は "Linux Allocated Devices List" ）として他の場所にあります。 ：

SERIAL DEVICES

       ttyS{0..63}
              Standard  serial  ports.  There  is  no  group keyword, you must
              specify these individually. However ttyS{0..3} are created under
              the generic option for most architectures.

そして

       PAM or ttyM
              Creates PAM multimodem (or ISI serial card) ports ttyM{0..15}.
