順序設定のないクエリの場合、SQL Serverはハッシュマッチフローディスティンクトを使用してグループ化された行をストリーミングできます。必要な数の個別エントリにすばやく遭遇した場合、実行時間は短くなります。

特定の順序が必要な場合、SQL Serverはすべての行をテストする必要があります。たとえば、行をname順に配置するには、すべての行を名前でソートする必要があります。行が多く、並べ替えなしでその順序を提供するインデックスがない場合、これは遅くなります。

あなたのケースには、いくつかの基本的な複雑な問題があります。特に、パーティショニングと[year]の分離です。パーティション化は、インデックスが期待どおりの順序を提供できないことを意味します。たとえば、nameのインデックスは実際には最初にパーティション番号で、次に名前でソートされます。 nameのみでソートされた行を配信することはできません。

FORCED PARAMETERIZATIONも設定されています。これは全体的に有益かもしれませんが、完全に理解する必要のある影響が伴います。パーティション分割と複数列のインデックスを組み合わせると、統計がほとんど役に立たなくなります。

yearの論理和も順序付けを混乱させ、SQL Serverはプラン内のyear >= 0 and year <= 2013のみをシークできることを意味します。これは、year = 0year = 2013を別々にシークするよりも選択性がはるかに低くなります。
