X11転送SSHセッションでfirefoxを起動できません

Ubuntu Desktop 16.04.2 LTSをインストールし、X11転送sshセッションからfirefoxを起動したいのですが、次のエラーメッセージが表示されます。

Ubuntu 18.04システムでMobaXtermを使用してfirefoxを実行しているときにも同じ問題が発生しました。解決策は、xorgとopenboxをインストールしてから再度ログインすることでした。
