アップロード前に画像の添付ファイルが存在するかどうかを確認する方法

私はプログラム的にWPに画像をアップロードしようとしていますが、同じ名前の画像が既に存在するかどうかを確認しています。これは、管理パネルのadd_submenu_page()経由でプラグイン内から実行しています。

私はforeach()を使って投稿ごとに2つの画像をアップロードし、投稿のスラッグに基づいてそれらに名前を付けますが、そのうちの1つだけがWPに正しく含まれているので省略存在していてもWPに。

ゴールドイメージは意図したとおりに機能するものです。通常のものは常に再アップロードされます。しかし、理由はわかりません。
